Your Journey Your Way

Our Story

Our NeuroTribe was created from the shared passion, lived experience and deep professional expertise of two remarkable neurodivergent leaders, Kelly Wiseman and Sky Hockley. Kelly, an autistic woman, mother of three and registered Developmental Educator, has dedicated her life to creating neuroaffirming spaces where autistic individuals and families can build meaningful lives. Sky, a highly experienced disability sector professional, mother of two, brings over 20 years of experience designing programs, coordinating supports and mentoring autistic youth and their families. Together, they joined forces creating Our NeuroTribe, a neurodivergent-led organisation built by and for the neurodivergent community. At Our NeuroTribe, we believe that belonging is not something you have to prove or perform; it is your right. We help autistic individuals, families and communities uncover their strengths, find their voice and build lives that reflect who they are and what matters to them.

Our Mission

At Our NeuroTribe, we walk alongside autistic individuals and families, meeting each person where they are, with respect, understanding and belief in their strengths. Meet Kelly

Developmental Educator, Lifelong Learner and Occasionally Glitter CoatedKelly is a neurodivergent mum of three, a registered Developmental Educator, and the heart behind Autistic GEM. She’s always learning, constantly diving into new study, research, or resources to better support autistic families. With a background in Inclusive Education and Autism Studies, she blends deep knowledge with lived experience to help families feel seen, supported, and capable. She’s the kind of person who’ll show up with empathy, a fresh perspective, and probably something pink. Kelly thrives on helping people make sense of complex systems, find their voice, and build a life that works for them, not someone else’s version of success.Things Kelly can help with: navigating the NDIS, unpacking assessments, building confidence, supporting parents, and helping autistic individuals understand and advocate for themselves.

Meet Sky

Program Coordinator, Master of Lists and Calm in the ChaosSky brings over two decades of experience in the disability sector, and somehow still brings the calm. She’s worked everywhere from day programs to early learning and ran a successful youth service for several years. Sky is known for her grounded presence, practical strategies, and brilliant ability to bring structure where it’s needed most. She’s the kind of person who colour codes the weekly planner, turns big ideas into clear action, and always knows where the spare socks are. When she’s not mentoring families or designing programs that actually work, she’s usually mapping out the next three steps, and the backup plan too.Things Sky can help with: daily care support, skill building, creating social programs, mentoring families, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
